Romantic Caribbean Fusion Wedding with East Indian Flair

Siobhan & Warren’s wedding was a blissful and magical day filled with love and joy.

The Chinese Proverb, “To forget One’s Ancestors Is To Be a Brook Without A Source, A Tree Without A Root” was a concurrent theme in planning their wedding day. For them, the proverb symbolized the importance of honoring their shared Caribbean and East Indian heritage.

As such, every detail of their special day strived to create an experience for their friends and family that “conjured up collective childhood memories.” From the vibrant colors in their décor, to their floral and custom attire, they paid tribute to their roots and embraced their Trinidad and Tobago culture.

Their cultural tributes continued through their music choices including playing Soca and Calypso beats throughout the night. A final surprise for their guests included the couple re-emerging onto the dance floor to pulsing Chutney Soca music wearing stunning East Indian outfits. Their children followed suite wearing cute miniature looks!

Surrounded by loved ones, the couple ended the evening beneath a moonlit starry sky with guests shouting well wishes and waving sparklers

Gifts for their bridesmaids and groomsmen: Warren gave each of his groomsmen engraved pocket watches while Siobhan gave her bridesmaids matching robes and jewelry for the wedding day.
Gifts for one another: Siobhan gave Warren a new watch to wear on their wedding day and a bottle of the cologne he was wearing the first day she met him.
