After a blind date didn’t lead to a second date, Thomas still asked Dana for a favor. He was interviewing for a new job in Atlanta and didn’t have his favorite suit, it was in Birmingham and so was Dana. They were both set to attend a brunch that weekend so he asked Dana if she could pick up his suit on the way and bring it to him. Being the sweetheart that she is, Dana agreed. In his words “Just to recap – a blind date, no second date, called for a favor, met my mom, brought the suit.”

A few months go by and they see each other in different settings several times but still aren’t dating. They both started developing feelings for each other, although neither was confessing it quite yet. Their first official non-blind date was Crossfit (take a look at the groom’s cakes below to show how much Crossfit means to them)  and brunch and just 20 days later Thomas knew she was the one for him.  He confessed to his Dad “mark my words, I’ll marry that girl” and a short 5 months later Thomas proposed on Cinco de Mayo, she said yes and the rest is history!

Thomas and Dana are the sweetest and cutest couple! Their engagement session is one of my favorite sessions, I loved the ease of working with them and I knew their wedding would be no different.  On what felt like the hottest day of this year these two tied the knot at the Historic Train Depot in their new hometown. Congratulations Dana and Thomas, I wish you a lifetime of joy and love! Here’s a tiny peek into their beautiful day!
