The last thing you want on your wedding day is to be told you can’t have your wedding at your venue due to power outages. I received the call from Haley early the morning of her wedding to her crying because her whole day she had been planning forever was now turned upside down. My heart went out to her and I knew all I wanted to do was make it the best day I could regardless of where we had it, the goal of the day was her and Dillon to be husband and wife.
It is rare we get any snow in this part of the south but this day the Georgia red clay was replaced with inches of fluffy white snow! The photographer in me literally was giddy because I knew these images would be a first for me and that I could create something magical that would help make up for the change of plans for the day.
Haley was stunning and her handsome ginger husband only had one thing on his mind and that was if Haley was okay and happy on their wedding day. I’m so thrilled I was part of this winter wonderland wedding! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Merciers, you have a great story to tell your children one day!
