KATIE + COLTON | ATLANTA ENGAGEMENT

“When I saw you first, it took every ounce of me not to kiss you. When I saw you laugh, it took every ounce of me not to fall in love. And when I saw your soul it took every ounce of me.” Atticus

Photographing Katie is a full circle moment for me, her mother taught me Graphic Arts in high school. She was the one who taught me how to develop film all those years ago! She was one of my most favorite teachers and we have remained friends ever since. When she reached out to me to about wedding photography for her oldest daughter I was so excited and nervous at the same time!

We planned the engagement session when it was around 70 degrees outside and in good ole typical Georgia fashion it can be hot one day and freezing the next. It was freezing for their session! Through watering eyes from the wind and cold we still captured such love and sweetness. These two together are so adorably fun! They remind me so much of Katie’s Mom and Dad! They say little girls are often drawn to someone who is a lot like their fathers, well I believe Katie found him! I was present at her parents wedding and now to be able to capture her wedding is such an honor and I am so excited for June to come!
