Surprise Proposal, Fayetteville Georgia

 

A beautiful morning at Stars Mill Waterfall in Fayetteville Georgia was the perfect backdrop for a surprise proposal! When Brittany contacted me to set up a family session I had no idea that there was a proposal also in the works, obviously she didn’t either! She and I emailed back and forth about locations and sorted all the details of their “family session”. A few days before the session her Mom sent me an email asking that I call her that it was important! Still clueless I called and she then filled me in on the actual reason for this session. I was so excited! One of the most fun things about this work is witnessing pure moments of joy and being able to capture those for my clients!

 

We started the session as I would any other family session, but we had secretly discussed that when I asked just Brittany and Casey to take photos together that this would be when he popped the question. I moved them in front of the waterfall and took a couple of random shots then asked them to face each other, and that’s when it happened! He got down on one knee and when he did she dropped to the ground herself in shock! At this point, I am wiping tears from my eyes and just snapped continuously not wanting to miss one second of this sweet proposal.

 

Congratulations Brittany and Casey and the entire family! I can’t wait to see this season of life unfold for you! Ah, I love what I do and this is one of the many reasons why!
