One of the things I love most about being an “older” photographer is that I get to capture the most important seasons of life for those I have watched grow up. I’ve known Anslie and her family for many years. I went to school with her Father, she was also good friends with one of my nieces and played softball with my daughter. Clients who are more than just clients, those that hold a special place in my heart, are so fun to do. I’m so honored to have been asked to walk along side them during such a happy time. I’m so excited for their fall wedding, I know it’s going to be a lot of fun and filled with many familiar faces.
Here’s a peek into Anslie and Michael’s engagement session at Cochran Mill Park. It rained all day up until their session, but the rain stopped for us and their session turned out beautiful. In the words of Anslie “You don’t have to fake happiness when you truly love someone.”, and you can see the love they have for each other in these!
I love that they got their feet in the water! Such a fun set of pictures!
Yes, they were such good sports! Even though it was FREEZING that day! Anything for a great shot right? 🙂
